Arizona Originals is the podcast focused on Arizona’s leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs from every walk of life.  This podcast allows them to tell their own stories in an effort to inspire, teach, and give practical advice to the listener.

Ultimately, we will all learn more about our State and the people who have helped make it a better place to live and to work.


Your host for Arizona Originals is Jason Isaak.    A Tucson native, Jason worked for the public affairs firm Policy Development Group from 1998 until 2018 where he represented clients at all levels of government – local, state, and federal.  Prior to joining PDG, he served as legislative director for Congressman Jim Kolbe and spent nearly eight years in his Washington, DC office.  In 2018, Jason returned to the public sector where he works for the Arizona Attorney General’s office.

Jason graduated from Baylor University and holds a diploma for the completion of the US Naval War College’s College of Naval Command and Staff program.

Jason has served on the Commission on Appellate Court Appointments Nominating Committee and the Governor’s Regulatory Review Council.  He currently serves on the board of directors for Career Connectors – a non-profit charged with assisting people in career transition to find employment, networking opportunities, education workshops, quality resources and job leads.

He also served on the board of directors and as the president of the Arizona Production Association – a non-profit trade association of Arizona production professionals with the mission of promoting, encouraging and advancing the growth of the film, theatre and television industries within the State of Arizona.  Today, Jason serves on the board of directors for Theatre Artists Studio located in Phoenix, AZ.  He is represented by Dani’s Agency and has appeared in numerous television commercials, print jobs, theatre performances, and other creative endeavors.

Jason served as an Honorary Commander for Luke Air Force Base from 2008-2010, and then helped establish the Blue Blazer Squadron, part of Fighter Country Partnership, where he served as the Vice-Chairman from 2013-2016.  The Blue Blazer Squadron is a group of former-honorary commanders who support the mission of Fighter Country Partnership – supporting the men, women, families and mission of Luke Air Force Base.  He remains an active participant with the BBS.

Jason resides in Phoenix with his wife, son, and three stepsons.
